These terms apply to your use of JPGPNG (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. The Service

JPGPNG provides a free tool that converts images to PNG format inside your web browser, together with informational guides. The Service is provided free of charge and may show advertising.

2. Your files and content

  • Images are processed locally on your device. We do not receive, store or claim any rights to your images or the converted files.
  • You are responsible for having the right to use, convert and distribute the images you process. Do not use the Service for unlawful content.
  • Keep your original files. Although conversion does not modify the original, you are responsible for your own backups.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to interfere with or disrupt the Service, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, use automated means to load it at a volume that degrades it for others, or remove or obscure advertising and notices while presenting the Service as your own.

4. Intellectual property

The website design, text, guides and original images are owned by JPGPNG and protected by copyright. You may quote short excerpts with a link to the source. Open-source components are used under their respective licences, credited on the About page.

5. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Results depend on your browser and device, and very large images may exceed your browser's limits. Guides are for general information and may contain errors despite our testing.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, JPGPNG is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including consumer protection law in your country of residence.

7. Third-party links and advertising

The Service contains links to third-party websites and advertising served by third parties. We are not responsible for their content or practices. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising works on this site.

8. Changes

We may update the Service and these terms. The current version is always on this page with its "Last updated" date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
